Role Overview:
As a leader of the sales team, the Sales Manager is the driving force behind the dealership's sales experiences. The Sales Manager is dedicated to motivating their team in order to achieve monthly sales targets and ensuring that all members of the team have the training and resources necessary to be successful in their jobs. As a team player, the Sales Manager strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership. The Sales Manager is focused on upholding our dealership's brand values and brand standards to create an unparalleled customer experience in the sales department.
Job Duties:
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and dealership goals.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer retention.
Train, motivate, and mentor sales staff to improve performance and professional development.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the General Manager.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining a customer-centric sales approach.
Oversee the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing sales and follow-up.
Collaborate with the marketing department to create and execute effective sales promotions and campaigns.
Manage inventory levels and ensure the optimal presentation of vehicles on the lot.
Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Requirements:
Proven experience in automotive sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving performance.
Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing options, and dealership operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and financial reports.
Proficient in using dealership management software and other relevant computer applications.
Valid driver’s license
