Journeyperson Automotive Technician - Rotational Schedule 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
We are currently seeking skilled Journeyperson Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing team at Rock Country GM in Thompson, Manitoba. This is a high-earning opportunity with steady work, a rotational schedule, and a full benefits package designed to support you and your family!
Compensation & Schedule
Earn up to $52.00 per hour based on experience
Performance and production bonuses available
Two weeks on / two weeks off rotational schedule
Guaranteed 8 hour day paid!

Job Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
Diagnose/root cause/repair technical and mechanical vehicle issues
Determine if additional safety or service work is required through vehicle inspections
Perform road tests to validate and confirm customer complaints and successful vehicle repair
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
We are committed to our employee’s continuous learning and development and as such, training is provided through orientation, self-assessments, coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers.
Ideal Requirements:
Automotive Technician Red Seal Certification - Preferred
Technician Level 4 and up are welcome to apply
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an automotive repair environment
Valid Driver's License - MANDATORY
Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs
Effective diagnostic aptitude, with strong time management skills
Detailed customer-centric approach and a team player
Strong English communication skills
